The bee itself is beautifully exposed and crisp in its sharpness. The colour contrast between the brown and yellow of the bee, pop against the magenta and green background. The handling of depth of field is excellent and the close cropping keeps it intimate without losing anything. I like the way the bee has been captured upside down carrying out its work. Well captured!

I love how this image has been composed with the sharp leaves and water droplets in the bottom left leading off to the background but with the water droplets as a whole stretching across the image to opposite corners. The muted tones aid in the earthy feel to the overall image. The exposure has been done tastefully with the highlights adding to the glossy look of the water droplets and the shadows not being too dark. A well thought out picture!

I think the glowy sepia technique applied to this image works with the subject of the hands. The author has thought through their composition with the positing of the hands in the frame. That plus the lighting captured excellently scoops your eye towards the centre of the image. A great image
