AGM to be  held 13 February 2018

Here’s the latest message from John, our president…

The start of this new year is a good time to move towards getting greater personal satisfaction on from your photography.
Make it interesting for yourself. Follow your emotions for subject matter and ignore what you think others might. Be selective in your subject choices. Give the Set Subject a miss if it’s not your thing and explore.

Put your own stamp on your work.

Be prepared however that in the judging process that if you go outside the square you might receive some setbacks from time to time. What will have been more important to you is that you will have done it your way.
2017 could well be your year. I am going to try and make it mine.

John P.

Photography is the art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.
